One Good Turn

It's more than a little late. I am arriving at the party when most have already gone home. But February Counterfeit Kit Challenge is not to be overlooked. A great kit. I loved building it. And I have specific plans to use it.

And my counterfeit version. One Good Turn

Let's dig into the details. First the papers.
Alphabet by Theresa Collins

manufacture unknown (muk)

Arrows by Echo Park

modification to a 6x12 sheet from a Provocraft Cricut stack

Not necessarily happy with my forged pp. Maybe I will get a better idea for the other 6x12 sheet in the same pattern.
Wood Veneer My Mind's Eye
Barnwood Mustard Pebblesinc

Right Now Basic Grey
Just Sew ki Memories

Just sew is much more yellow than brown. Darn lousy lighting.

Pure Happiness Webster's Pages

From my ebay buying spree, about 6 years ago I have this photo sheet with bokeh background. Manufacturer Unknown (muk)

Style Board Maggie Holms AC

Journey Begins Websters Pages

First Class Pink Paislee
Rosy "Ordinary" Adventure Lost and Found Two MME

Gold World Vellum Chic Tags
The elusive and unattainable original (aka SOLD OUT) is being represented in my kit by a section of packaging off a box.

Shine My Mind's Eye
Gold paper muk, 1" punch and Xyron
I am most proud of the next one.

Background paper has a frosty grey finish

Perfect!

This time around, I did not match up the B sides. However I do have a few good matches in mind that may be drawn into the kit yet.  Now that gold paper is so delicious, I cannot waste a bit of it.
Wood Veneer Sequins Chic Tags

Resourceful

There is also this scrap of sequin pp that I can use.
Wood Dots MME

And the fist bit of morphing from my January kit are these scrap bits of wood effect paper. They will mimic the wood dots.

Flowers Petaloo
Posies from a swap. muk

Flair MME
Prima Pebbles

Love the little map bits in these pebbles.

Ephemera Pink Paislee
Left Acetate bits Carte Postal Basic Grey

More morphing from January kit. The group on the right is what's left of my Fancy Pants, Collecting Moments.

Cardstock Stickers PP
Indie Chic My Mind's Eye

Journaling Cards Pink Paislee

Morphing forward is a Breezy Badge that didn't get used in Jan. Also a beautiful tag in vellum sleeve. Someday it will find its home. The 12x12 pocket card sheet was picked up in the past year at a LSS but alas, it has not identification strip, so muk-it anyways.

Alpha and word cardstock stikers MME
Alpha and word cardstock stikers MME

I am excited to have the same thing, in a different font.

My cardstock choices. Cream, mint, tan and red. The red is the flip side of the grey and white stripe by Glitz. It is morphing from the Jan kit also.

So my papers look like this.

And my kit again:
One Good Turn

There are some add-ons.
Morphing forward from Jan kit.
Chip die cuts, rub-ons, 6x6 papers, words and phrases paper, dots, clips, canvas die cuts, all from the January kit, or were pulled in during the month for support, now fill out the Feb kit.
techniques for Feb
Brought in to add creative dimension. Stamping, piercing cards by bazzil since I didn't get any stiched words done in the Jan kit. Arrow washie. Hello diecuts made by a friend.

Further additions will come from my Scraprack. The Theme section in my Scraprack and paper storage each have a "travel" section. All related items stored together, ready to pulled onto a layout when ever the whim is present.

And there it is. Am I too late? Have you moved onto other kits, other inspirations? I hope you will forgive me this tardiness. Still learning to juggle work and scrapping and as of February 11, I have become an independent consultant for Thrity-one Gifts. Inspiration from every direction!

Thanks for stopping by. Double thanks for comments.
