The "kit to copy" this month from Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog, is Studio Calico's Pop Art Kit.
My kit, "To Your Good Health!" begins with the patterned papers:
For the Alphas I chose:
Basic Grey, Monogram Stickers, Granola
Studio Calico, Countryside Collection, Mud Pie
and the dredges from a Creative Memories sticker set.
I had to stretch a bit to find embllies that remind me of the ones in the kit.
For the rubber leaves (ferns), there are Basic Grey, Chip Stickers, Granola
For the Bright Transparent Die Cuts, I have added left over vellum shapes I punched out for the Messy Box a few months back.
Two Gold foil washi tapes, sub in nicely with dots, which just between you and me, I like so much better than the plus pattern that is currently trending.
I punched yellow tags with a Creative Memories punch. If I can find my Tim Holts tag circles, they will add a good finishing touch to the tags. Or maybe I can dig up some "old school" reinforcments.
I didn't have anything in the "puffy" category, but these plastic diamond gems have been in the stash for at least five years, and I don't think they have ever been used.
Then there were the stamps. I drew from several sets and ended up with:
No kitty cats in my collection, but I do have a cute sleepy owl from Bo Bunny.
The 2.5" x 3" frame is from Prima Marketing.
Three stars from Inque Boutique
and yes! I pulled in an alpha set to create the word of the original kit.
The cardstock was not included in this version. I have a selection at my desk, one offs and two offs, that I refer to at the start of any layout, with the goal to reduce the quantity of shades in the cardstockhoard collection.
All together the kit looks like this:
Thanks for stopping by. Double thanks for comments.
