Two mantras I've adopted through my scrapping journey:
1. Done is better than perfect.
2. Good Enough is Good Enough.
Lately, between working at Riddle Used Store and running a direct sales business with Thrity-One Gifts (and helping the beautiful women in my downline) there is little time/energy for the scrappy part of life. The best way to keep actively scrapping (atm) is to not be as intense about it as I might have been previously.
So here is a "lazy" post from me.
August Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit is from Scrappy Canary.
Introducing "Good Enough"
Those two on the bottom (angle stripe and navy) snuck into the photo. Not part of the kit but wanted to hang out with their friends.
And the details:
There is a lot of grey in this kit. Not too sure
if I like that or not.
Chevron paper made with Washi tape and CM paper ribbon.
The "B" sides (of those papers that have one.) They look so good together, they could be their own kit.
Alphas: Wood veneer from Prima and the dredges of two sets of Thickers.
Corky itemes. I cut the "HELLO" and the >>> with a craft knife, from a cork placemat,
Words and frames. Mini envelopes made from a patterned paper. No fancy pattern used. Just cut and fold with a few dots of glue.
MME, Now and Then, Mixed Bag, ephemera package.
Fancy Pants, As You Wish, Decorative Bags.
CTMH, Washi. They make the best washi patterns and colours. I can't resist buying them.
Once more, the whole kit'n'kaboodle.
Thanks for dropping by. Double thanks for comments.

Good Enough is better than good enough - it's great! I really like the combination of papers you've brought together and that forged chevron paper is awesome! I like the grey but then I haven't been using so much colour recently unless it comes in a kit! And I like the frame paper - think of all the fussy cutting! Nice - now go get creating!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing a counterfeit unafraid of color & pattern! I'm calling this Dynamically Done in the spirit of your other motto ;D
ReplyDeleteYou've exceeded good enough by a great deal, I'd say. Enjoy the kit.
