Flower power

Summer heat wave has broke and I am back in the garden. While the temperatures were setting new record highs, I restricted my gardening to keeping the flowers watered. And now I am rewarded with beautiful photo ops.

Wish you could smell that last one.It is a mock orange.

Still finding time to scrapbook. Using CKC kit A Bird in the Hand.

Rain in the forecast. This is a good thing. My rain barrels are getting rather low.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Your flowers are so pretty! I like all the different colors in a garden. It was so hot here in Michigan but finally temperature came down. I like the golden yellow flowers, what are they?

    1. Hi Mary, Thanks for your comment. The yellow flower is a Golden Globe or Trolius. This paticular type is about 3 ft tall. I am searching for the type my mother used to grow. It was only about 8 - 10 inches tall and had a semi-double rose-like blossom and was a very early bloomer.
